Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to handle incoming and outgoing goods, organize inventory, and assist with various warehouse tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receiving and Unloading: Receive incoming shipments, inspect them for damages, and unload goods from trucks or delivery vehicles.
  2. Inventory Management: Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring accurate labeling and proper placement.
  3. Order Picking: Pick and pack items according to order lists, verifying accuracy and completeness before shipping.
  4. Packing and Shipping: Prepare outgoing shipments by securely packaging products, attaching labels, and arranging for timely deliveries.
  5. Stock Rotation: Monitor stock levels and practice the first-in-first-out (FIFO) method to maintain inventory freshness.
  6. Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner (if certified and trained).
  7. Inventory Count: Participate in regular inventory counts to ensure accurate stock records and identify discrepancies.
  8. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area.
  9. Orderliness and Organization: Maintain a well-organized warehouse, optimizing space utilization and accessibility of products.
  10. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members and communicate effectively to ensure seamless operations.
  11. Problem-Solving: Address and report any issues or concerns related to products, equipment, or processes promptly.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects regularly.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, such as using inventory management software and MS Office.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Forklift certification (if required) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
