How It Works: Step-by-Step Process for Applying for Training, Internship, or Work Programs

Step 1: Application Submission

  1. Partners (such as universities or recruitment agencies) submit the CVs and educational documents of candidates to SHB Personalservice using SHB CV template:
    A. Personal Information
    – Training and Internship Form : Create CV
    – Skill Worker Form : Create CV

Please note that we do not accept any other CV formats other than the one we provide

Step 2: Eligibility Check

  • SHB’s HR department reviews the submitted documents to confirm whether the candidates meet the eligibility requirements for the traineeship or work programs.

Step 3: Eligibility Notification

  • SHB informs the partner if the candidates are eligible for the program. If eligible, the process moves to the next step.

Step 4: Online Interview Coordination

  • The partner coordinates an online interview between the eligible candidates and SHB’s HR representative.

Step 5: Interview Results and Document Submission

  • After the interview, SHB shares the list of successful candidates with the partner via email. If any documents are missing, SHB requests them from the partner. For candidates applying for Denmark agriculture programs, they may need to take IELTS/TOEFL/KET English tests after passing the interview.

Step 6: Matching with Traineeship Placement

  • SHB matches the successful candidates with available traineeship or work placements. This process may take between 2 days to 6 weeks, depending on availability.

Step 7: Offer Notification

  • SHB informs the partner about the candidates who have received a traineeship or work offer.

Step 8: Traineeship Contract Preparation

  • SHB’s administrative department prepares the traineeship contract for each candidate and shares it with the host employer for signing.

Step 9: Contract Signing

  • The traineeship contract is shared with the partner to be signed by the candidate. SHB then invoices the program fee.

Step 10: Visa Application

  • SHB and partners handle the visa application process, including managing communication with migration officers to ensure the application is processed smoothly. SHB informs the partner when candidates need to complete biometric requirements at local visa centers.

Step 11: Visa Approval Notification

  • Once the visa is approved, SHB informs the partner and the host employer.

Step 12: Travel Coordination

  • The partner informs the candidate to book their plane tickets and notifies SHB of the candidate’s arrival date. SHB assigns a responsible employee to prepare logistics and coordinate the arrival with the host employer, ensuring a smooth transition.

Step 13: Arrival and Integration

  • Upon arrival in the destination country, SHB ensures the candidate receives all necessary documents and assists with opening a bank account. SHB maintains ongoing communication with the trainee/worker to ensure their safety and wellbeing. The candidates are also invited to online seminars and events to help them integrate smoothly into their new environment.

  3. Assisting with visa applications.
  4. Maintaining communication with candidates throughout their journey from their home country to their destination.
  5. Facilitating the acquisition of tax cards and the opening of local bank accounts.
  6. Providing comprehensive support throughout the placement experience.
